- How long does a bottle last?
A bottle contains approximately 90 pumps and how long a bottle lasts depends if the user is using the product to load or maintain. New users and those who have not used the product for a while will use a loading dosage of 8 pumps per day and a bottle will last 15 days. Users who have used the product before will use a maintenance dosage of 4 pumps per day and the bottle will last approximately 30 days, users can adjust the dosage and use less if the desired tan has been reached. - How long to get results?
It is important to note that the product does not work instantly, it takes time for the product to stimulate melanin production in the body and our customers generally start to see results after 25-35 days. UV exposure helps activate the product and customers can see faster results by sunbathing or using a sun bed.

- Do you need to spend long hours in the sun?
No… The product will naturally stimulate melanin production without any sun exposure. Even though the product can work without any sun exposure the user can activate the product quicker by spending short periods of time in the sun, this will result in a faster, even longer lasting tan. 

- How long does the tan last?
If used correctly the user can have a tan that lasts between 2-3 months before the tan starts to fade. It is suggested to keep maintaining the tan by using the product continuously.

- How does it work?
To understand how it works, we must first explain how the tanning process works within our bodies. When the skin is exposed to the sun, it produces a pigment called melanin which is designed to protect the skin from damage caused by UV rays. Melanin is produced by specific cells called melanocytes. When the peptide Melanotan is introduced into the skin, it essentially ‘switches on’ these melanocytes so that they can produce melanin more efficiently. The result? When skin is exposed to the sun for just a short time, it produces an increased amount of melanin than it usually would. This means that you can spend just 10 minutes outside in the sunshine, and see your skin tone develop into a beautifully rich, warm tan that would have taken hours of sun exposure to produce without Melanotan.

- What is Melanotan?
Melanotan is a peptide (chain of amino acids) that once entered into the hepatic system it stimulates your body’s own melanin (pigment making hormone). This process happens with or without sunlight stimulation; however some sunlight does activate the product faster.
